Memory Stick XCTM Series

Memory Stick XCTM format series (“XC series”), by extending the Memory Stick PROTM format series (“PRO series”), has achieved maximum 2TB capacity, 60 times larger than that of Memory Stick PROTM which is 32GB.
XC series has the same form factors as PRO series, and supports MagicGateTM content protection technology as well as Access Control function as PRO series does.
XC series uses exFAT file system, while PRO series uses FAT12/16/32.

XC series is comprised of the following products corresponding to series.

Products in PRO series

Memory Stick PRO DuoTM
Memory Stick PRO-HG DuoTM
Memory Stick MicroTM (M2TM)
Memory Stick HG MicroTM (M2-HGTM)

Products in XC series

Memory Stick XC DuoTM
Memory Stick XC-HG DuoTM
Memory Stick XC MicroTM (M2 XCTM)
Memory Stick XC-HG MicroTM (M2 XC-HGTM)
